Drumset master class description In this master class you will deepen your understanding of Brazilian music and rhythms as we move well beyond just memorizing patterns for the drumset.  In addition to work on samba, bossa nova, baião, and (if time allows) other northeastern rhythms such as maracatu, ijexá (afoxé), côco and xaxado, we will focus on developing your overall musicianship and ensemble skills.
